Duke of Tokyo is a karaoke and cocktail bar with venues in Amsterdam, Utrecht, and Rotterdam. We serve premium cocktails, sakes, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks. You can make a reservation to sing in your own private karaoke room, but you’re also welcome to drop by for a drink or a dance in our Tokyo-inspired bar. We host DJ nights every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

To make a reservation, go to our website. Choose the location you want to visit. Then choose the date, time and stand you want to reserve. Finally, confirm your reservation and pay directly online.
Yes. To prevent no-shows, it is required to pay in advance when making your online booking.
To cancel your reservation, click on the cancellation link in the confirmation email.
If you cancel your reservation within 72 hours of the scheduled start time, you will receive a full refund, minus a €5 administration fee. The money will be deposited into your bank account within a few days.
The prices of our karaoke booths differ depending on the day and time you come, not on the number of people in your group. Each booth has a maximum number of people it can fit, but if you come with fewer people you will still pay full price for a booth.
When you rent a booth from us, a high-quality karaoke system with Bose speakers, two wireless microphones and a tablet for ordering drinks for the booth is included.
We offer over 20,000 songs in many different languages and genres, including pop, rock, hip-hop and R&B. Click here for the full catalog of songs on the SUNVIG website. If you would like to request an issue that is not in the catalogue, please use the contact form at the bottom of the page. Please note that it may take several months for the requested songs to be added to the catalog and that Duke of Tokyo has no control over the songs in the catalog.
You can change your reservation to a different time slot or booth up to 72 hours before the start of your booking, provided the booth and/or time slot is still available. To change your reservation, send an email to sing@dukeoftokyo.com.
Our karaoke booths are suitable for groups of up to 25 people. We have rooms in different sizes to accommodate different group sizes. You can find all room sizes on the booking page of our website (make sure you choose the location you want to visit first).
If there are no longer larger booths available and you still want to bring extra people, we can usually arrange something for an additional fee. In that case, please contact sing@dukeoftokyo.com.
Yes. We ask all karaoke guests to leave a physical deposit at the reception, for the duration of their singing session. This helps prevent groups from accidentally leaving in their enthusiasm without settling their drinks bill.
If your booth is not reserved after your time slot, you can continue singing for a fee. However, if the booth has been reserved, it will not be possible to continue. We are happy to check for you whether another booth is available.
Absolute! We have a large bar where you can have a drink before and/or after your karaoke session. We also have a DJ on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. You're also more than welcome to just drop by for a drink or a dance, even if you don't do karaoke.
No, outside food and drinks are not allowed in our bars and booths. Exceptions can be made, such as for a birthday cake for example.

Yes, that's fine. Don't forget to bring your own plates and cutlery. We kindly ask you to leave the booth clean and tidy after use.
If you plan to bring a cake, please indicate this in the 'comments' when booking so that we are aware of this.
We do not offer drinks packages. Each karaoke booth is equipped with a tablet with which you can order your drinks. Our karaoke hosts will then bring your drinks straight to your booth.
Of course! Each booth has a tablet that you can use to order your drinks. Our karaoke hosts will then bring your order to your booth so you can continue singing undisturbed!
Absolute! You can already choose drinks when making your online reservation. We will then prepare these in your booth in advance. You have the option to change your drinks order up to 48 hours before the reservation. This can be done via the link in your confirmation email. You pay for the drinks on the day itself.
No, you do not need a reservation to drink or dance in our bar. However, we do recommend that you arrive early due to our limited bar capacity.
Yes, that is not a problem! You are more than welcome to organize a birthday, a small party or just a drink with some friends in our bars. When the weather is nice, this is also possible on our beautiful terraces (except in Utrecht. Rotterdam: terrace soon).
Please email your request to sing@dukeoftokyo.com and include the day, time and number of guests. We can then look at the options and help you organize it.
Please note: if you arrive a little later, please call us. Tables are held for a maximum of 15 minutes after the start time of your reservation. The latest possible starting time for a table reservation is 8:00 PM.
We have an amazing restaurant at Duke of Tokyo Rotterdam, called Izakaya DUKI, you can also order snacks in the bar and karaoke booths. Unfortunately, we do not serve food in Utrecht and Amsterdam. However, feel free to ask us for recommendations nearby!
You can view our drinks menu on our website. We offer a variety of unique house cocktails, classic cocktails, sakes, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks.
Let our enthusiastic team of bartenders know what you like and they will be happy to help you choose the right cocktail or even a special cocktail to your taste!
If you are under 16 years old and would like to reserve a booth, at least one parent or guardian (18+) must be present for supervision. We recommend that you choose a time slot early in the day when booking, such as Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Later in the day it can get very busy and there are people in the bar under the influence of alcohol. The bar is then not an ideal environment for young children. Parental supervision is optional between the ages of 16 and 18. Please note: alcohol may not be served to persons under the age of 18. If a group has both underage and adult members, the entire group cannot order alcohol in the booth.
ROTTERDAM:
Our location in Rotterdam is wheelchair accessible (our guests can use the building's elevator and wheelchair-accessible toilets).
AMSTERDAM & UTRECHT:
All types and sizes of wheelchairs can reach the bar as there are only one or two small stairs (for which we have a ramp with a load capacity of 270 kg).
However, we do not have wheelchair accessible toilets.
In Utrecht the tunnel descends slightly to access the entrance to our bar, so upon departure our staff can assist you up the hill.
KARAOK ROOMS:
In all 3 locations, depending on the size of your wheelchair, some of our smaller karaoke rooms may be less comfortable if you come with as many people as the room allows.

No, we do not have a specific dress code. Wear something that you feel comfortable in and that is suitable for a night out.
Unfortunately not. The only way to reserve a karaoke booth is via our booking system on the website.
